Many organisations have started their journey to net zero by committing to targets to reduce their emissions over the coming years. Using the widely recognised independent standard Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Reporting Protocol examples of how we are helping are:

Producing annual Streamlined Energy and Carbon Reporting (SECR) submissions in line with the current UK legislation, to be included in published financial accounts.
Calculating additional emissions for non-mandatory categories should organisations wish them to be included in published financial accounts.
Identifying Scope 3 categories that organisations are impacted by and helping with the collation of the relevant data.
Assisting with supply chain engagement to obtain further granular data within scope 3.
Assisting with the process of setting targets for net zero either within the organisations business or via an external body such as Science Based Targets Initiative (SBTi).

BRUKL documents are required to display compliance with Part L of the Building Regulations for conservation of fuel and power when constructing a property. These are sometimes referred to by local authorities in charge of planning when referring to low carbon policies that may be in force.

Coral Energy is fully accredited, insured and legally compliant to undertake BRUKL calculations from the initial ‘design’ stage of a project through to completion. We understand the complexities of building regulations in this area and can provide you with any help you may require.

Once building is complete, Coral Energy will issue an ‘As Built’ BRUKL report highlighting full compliance as well as an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), which will be required for the rental or sale of the property.
