Ellie joined Coral Energy in 2023 to help with data collation and analysis.

Having a keen eye for detail, Ellie is responsible for ensuring that all data is received accurately recorded and analysed for the period that is being monitored.

Joe joined Coral Energy Limited in 2023 in his first role in the energy industry. He has quickly become an integral part of the “front” office team enjoying being on site assessing energy consuming equipment and operational processes for his clients.

During 2023 Joe has qualified to be a Non-Domestic Energy Performance assessor and an air conditioning inspector and will continue to build his qualifications in the future.

Emily has been with Coral Energy Limited since 2016 after working for a few energy consultants in administration roles.

Responsible for data analysis and report writing, Emily builds relationships with clients to ensure that the data required is collated and recorded in a timely manner.

Emily’s area of expertise is understanding the published emission conversion factors to ensure that all compliance reporting is accurate for her clients.

Michelle Hitchens

Michelle began her career in energy in 1989 when the sector privatised, working for Eon in various operational departments for over 17 years. Michelle then moved to have day to day operational control for a small business energy supplier and then working for some of the larger energy consultants, assisting clients with energy procurement.

Before joining Leigh in Coral Energy Limited in 2022, Michelle worked for a global software company selling billing and customer management software to many of the energy startups that came to the market between 2016 and 2022.

Michelle is an expert in back-office management and is passionate about data believing that the measuring and monitoring of energy consumption is key to businesses achieving their Net Zero goals.

Leigh Hitchens

Leigh began his career in energy in 1989 when competition opened in the UK.

Over the next 20 years Leigh worked in business development for commercial energy suppliers such as Eon, Npower and British Gas.

Whilst working for British Gas, Leigh was the contact for public sector energy purchasing which involved liaison with government on policy measures.

Leigh identified that the future focus of the industry was not just about the purchasing of energy but how organisations should reduce their consumption, cost and emissions and therefore founded Coral Energy Limited in 2016 to focus in this area.

Leigh is qualified in several areas of energy and building management including an ESOS Lead Assessor, Domestic and non-domestic EPCs, Air Conditioning inspector and is an ENCo certified Behavioural Change consultant.
